When you find an athlete you want to play with, tap Challenge to Match on their profile. Choose your sport, date, time, and location and send the request. They'll get a notification and can accept or decline. Once accepted, it shows up in your Matches tab.

How do I list my sports league online?

To list your sports league on Squad Snag, open the app and tap Create League. Fill in your league details including sport, location, skill level, divisions, and contact information. Your league will appear in the public Squad Snag league directory immediately, where athletes searching for local sports leagues can find, follow, and apply to join it. If your league is already in our directory from a previous import, you can claim it by tapping Claim This League on the league profile page.

What is the difference between following and joining a league on Squad Snag?

Following a league means you want to stay updated — you'll see league news, events, and activity in your feed without being a registered playing member. Joining a league (applying for membership) means you want to actively participate and compete as a member of the league's roster. League organizers review membership applications and approve or decline them. You can follow any league without committing to play, and upgrade to membership when you're ready.

How do I list my league?

Tap the Create League option in the app and fill in your league details including sport, location, divisions, and contact info. Your league will appear in our sports league finder for athletes in your area to discover and follow. League director tools — including membership approval, event creation, and event boosting — are available once your league is live. If your league is already listed on Squad Snag from our existing directory, you can claim it by tapping Claim This League on the league profile.

What is the difference between a league follower and a league member?

A follower is someone who wants to stay updated on a league but doesn't actively play in it. A member is an athlete who plays in the league. Followers can see league info and events, while members are part of the roster.

How does event boosting work?

League organizers can pay to boost their events so they appear at the top of the Events tab with a Featured label, giving them more visibility to athletes in the area.

How do I create a team?

Tap Create Team in the Teams tab, fill in your team details including sport, skill level, and location, and you're set. You can then find players for your team by inviting athletes from the Snag Your Squad tab, or share a link for others to request to join.
