Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Squad Snag. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Squad Snag regarding your use of our mobile app, website, and related services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Squad Snag mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Squad Snag. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Your Account
Registration

You may create an account using your email address or via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In.
•
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
•
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
•
You agree to notify us immediately at legal@squadsnag.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Accuracy
•
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and profile.
•
You agree to keep your profile information up to date.
Account termination
•
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms.
•
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at legal@squadsnag.com.
4. Use of the Service
Permitted uses
•
Finding and connecting with athletes for matches, leagues, and teams.
•
Creating and managing teams, scheduling matches, and tracking statistics.
•
Joining and following sports leagues.
•
Communicating with other users through match request notes.
Prohibited uses
•
Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
•
Posting false, misleading, or inaccurate profile information or match results.
•
Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users.
•
Impersonating any person or entity.
•
Attempting to access another user's account without permission.
•
Scraping, crawling, or otherwise extracting data from the Service without our written consent.
•
Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Service.
•
Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to Squad Snag, including profile information, photos, match notes, and team data ("User Content").
By submitting User Content, you grant Squad Snag a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and store your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit your User Content, and that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.
6. Premium Subscriptions
Squad Snag Premium
•
Some features of the Service are available only to subscribers ("Squad Snag Premium").
•
Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) via the Apple App Store, Google Play, or RevenueCat Web Billing depending on your platform.
•
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Cancellation and refunds
•
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
•
We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
•
To cancel, use the subscription management options in your Profile or contact us at legal@squadsnag.com.
Price changes
•
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price changes before they take effect.
7. Athlete Interactions and Safety
Squad Snag facilitates connections between athletes but is not responsible for the actions, conduct, or behavior of any user — on or off the platform.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We strongly encourage you to exercise caution when meeting other athletes in person. Always meet in public places and inform someone you trust of your plans.
We do not conduct background checks on our users. By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
If you encounter a user who makes you feel unsafe or who you believe has violated these Terms, please report them by contacting legal@squadsnag.com.
8. Intellectual Property
Squad Snag and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content created by Squad Snag (excluding User Content).
These Terms do not grant you any right to use the Squad Snag name, logo, or other trademarks.
You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We are not responsible for the accuracy of any match statistics, team records, or other user-submitted data.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SQUAD SNAG AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Squad Snag and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Charlotte County, Florida.
